The outing to the Marsham Arms on the 16th April was enjoyed by the members who attended. At a recent committee meeting it was agreed to purchase a carpet bowls set for setting up in the large hall and should be suitable to be played by many members. This was financed from a recent bequest given to be spent on an item to be used by the members. Members are reminded that the day centre holds a stock of Schloer that can be purchased at £2 per bottle to celebrate birthdays etc. We have been informed that the scouts probably will be converting one of the disabled toilets into a shower room.
