Congratulations and thanks to Dot Jarvis who after several months work, obtained a grant for the daycentre of £1500 from another charity.
I have been informed of the recent death of Maureen Coleman after a long illness. She retired from the daycentre in May 2017 after supporting the daycentre for over 30 years. Maureen made tea and coffee on Wednesday then Tuesday afternoons.
Twelve staff members attended First Aid course that had been designed to cover the requirements of the centre.
This year’s first outing will be to the Brick Kilns restaurant at Little Plumstead on Tuesday 7th May. Members attending on Tuesdays and Thursdays are invited. Menu choice forms will be available
