Welcome to your August 2012 Newsletter !
The open coffee morning cake sale and auction raised £229 for the day centre. Our sincere thanks go to all those who had contributed to its success. We were saddened to hear of the death of Edna Sutherland, who had been a member for nearly 9 years. We welcome a new relief minibus driver, Mike Gilmore. The members who have recently joined the day centre may not know that we are fortunate to have the services of a chiropodist and a hairdresser. Paula, the chiropodist, attends on Wednesday and Thursday at about 8 week intervals. Norma, the hairdresser, comes every week on Wednesdays and some Thursdays. If you would like to use these services please tell a staff member. Therapeutic Care with Geraldine has finished .The Red Cross hope to restart the service with a new volunteer in the autumn.
