The Grand Christmas raffle raised £134.50 and the Christmas cake raffle raised £36.70.The collection made as an alternative to sending cards made £100 for the Big C We thank the organisations that made donations to the raffle and everyone who helped to make the Christmas activities so enjoyable. We thank the Taverham Lions Club for their donation which allowed members to have a free Christmas lunch, and for Carole Ward’s donation towards the staff Christmas lunch. It is with sadness that we note the sudden deaths of Len & Ellen Sneath. An inquest has stated that it was Len’s heart condition that caused the car crash that resulted in Ellen’s death. We have been informed that May Watson is very ill. We welcome a new manicurist, Lisa. A box for voluntary donations will be available when she attends.
